Your plan stays in your browser.
This notice describes the current Offgrid Family website at offgridfamily.com. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to info@offgridfamily.com.
Calculator settings and checklists
The planner stores settings and checked items in your browser’s local storage so they can remain available when you return. This includes household counts, duration, pet allowances, selected power loads, and supply progress. It also stores products added to your kit list and whether you followed product links in a step. The calculator code does not send these entries to our server. Avoid entering identifying or sensitive information; the planner does not need it.
Clear this site’s data in your browser settings to remove saved planner information. Using a shared browser may allow other users of that browser profile to see the saved plan. Printed or saved PDF copies are under your control.
Site delivery and security
Cloudflare delivers the website and may process technical request information such as IP address, browser information, requested pages, and timestamps to provide and protect its service. That processing is separate from the calculator’s local storage. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy for more information.
If you email us, your address, message, and any attachments are processed through our email services so we can receive and respond to your request. Keep sensitive documents out of your message. Correspondence may remain in our mailbox; contact us if you want to request its deletion. Requests may be subject to applicable recordkeeping obligations.
Analytics, advertising, and product links
The current site code does not include advertising pixels or third-party analytics scripts. Product clicks, completion actions and sharing actions emit browser-side events for future analytics integration; no analytics collection service is currently configured. These events do not include household counts or personal contact information. Amazon product links include our affiliate tracking ID so Amazon can attribute qualifying purchases to Offgrid Family.
When you follow an external link, that website can process your visit under its own privacy practices, including cookies or other tracking. We do not control external websites. Amazon may use cookies and other technologies to attribute purchases after you follow an Amazon link. Other product links may go directly to manufacturers.
Sharing your plan
Sharing is optional and opens your chosen app or social platform. The shared message includes the site link, not your household counts or product list. The receiving service handles the post under its own privacy practices.
Your choices
You can use the guides without saving a plan, clear browser site data, choose not to email us, and choose whether to follow external links. Browser privacy settings may restrict local storage or affect whether your plan persists. We do not offer user accounts or collect payment details on this website.
